Question by : How much does a laptop screen replacement cost?
How much does a laptop screen replacement cost? I was wondering because the only problem with an old computer of mine needs one. It’s a toshiba with windows xp home edition.
i was wondering if they even made replacements for it anymore or if they custom redo it every time.

It’s not that expensive, unless it’s a really old computer. Most laptop screens are $ 100-$ 200 on ebay or other spare part sites. Though putting a $ 200 screen in a computer that performs as well as a brand new $ 400 laptop might not be quite worth it. But you can easily replace it yourself, just so long you have the right sized screen.

I want to be able to go to engineering meetings and live sketch ideas. I use sketchbook pro on my wacom 21 now but was hoping to get a transportable device to sketch as well. Acer is the only tablet ive really looked at so far and i like it because its a laptop as well as a sketch tablet, any other ideas?

so basically, i want a laptop/tablet that is a standard laptop with tablet sketching ability.

HP has a very nice tablet and offers customization. They are shipped free too. I can’t exactly vouch as the only time I have ever seen one in person was when my Physical Therapist owned one but he loved it. I know for a fact it would be ideal for engineering and converts back into a standard laptop when not needed as a sketch pad.

The question I have is are there any laptops with:

- intel i7 processors
- battery life of 3 hrs + (normal use)
- 14.5″ screen or smaller

I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me with this. I need it for college (I’m already two weeks in) and I have been looking for a while. If I don’t get it soon I’ll be screwed.

Hey, you could just lower the back light on it to make the screen less bright,
and it should last twice as long.

I took my laptop, with batter halfway and it lasted 2 hours with lowest back light.
But I don’t have an i7.
It should still work, though.

Try any of these laptops.

I got a wireless router, but not a 360 adapter. I got a ethernet cable that I can connect to my 360 and laptop hp windows 7. When I do these steps:

network connections
properties
sharing tab
and check all the boxes

I still cant connect to live. Anyone help?

What youve done so far wont work. Go to your network connections, right click on your xbox, and then choose “bridge connection”. Works on XP just fine, should work for 7 too I imagine.
